We are seeking a Full Stack Developer to help us revolutionise the physical and digital music industry. The company has invented a new technology to produce on-demand vinyl records and built a web platform for music creators to create and sell their product worldwide via our store. We are working with the leading record labels, streaming services, digital service providers, distributors, and iconic global artists who are keen to partner with us to build a global solution for physical media. It is our mission that any music creator, big and small, will have frictionless access to offer vinyl and CD to their fans via our innovative solution and planned production/fulfilment centres in Europe, USA and Asia.

The vinyl market has been growing on average more than 20% year on year over the last 16 years, more than doubling since 2020. In Japan it grew 40% last year and even CDs are growing for the first time in two decades. Over 30 million creators are releasing their music online today while they are growing 30% a year and represent the fastest growing segment in music. Most of them would like to have their music on vinyl or CD for their friends & family and especially their fans. elasticStage will provide them easy and affordable access via its unique and scalable on-demand tech.

This person will have complete, end-to-end ownership of projects. The full stack developer will join a small team that uses new technology to solve challenges for both the front-end and back-end architecture, ultimately delivering amazing experiences for global users.

 Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including developers and product managers to ideate software solutions.
  • Design client-side and server-side architecture.
  • Build the front-end of applications through appealing visual design.
  • Develop and manage well-functioning databases and applications.
  • Test software to ensure responsiveness and efficiency.
  • Troubleshoot, debug and upgrade software.
  • Write technical documentation.
  • Focus on meeting both technical and consumer needs through innovation and practical problem-solving.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a PHP Full Stack Developer or similar role.
  • Familiarity with database systems like MySQL or PostgreSQL, web servers (e.g. Nginx) and UI/UX design.
  • Experience developing with PHP frameworks such as Laravel or Symfony. 
  • Familiarity with common stacks (AWS, Docker).
  • Javascript experience with one or more JS frameworks (Vue, React), preferably Vue3 and have a good understanding of modern frontend and backend technologies.
  • Experience in writing frontend and backend unit and integration tests (eg.: PHP Unit, Vitest, Cypress).
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality, maintainable code.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

Work Location
