Requirements

This content creator will join a highly talented creative services team and report in to the Head of Production, whilst working with cross functional teams including strategy and account handling. Whilst this role will suit a social media native, we are hoping for someone that has a deep understanding of wider content creation and lives and breathes emerging digital trends.

Key Responsibilities

  • Independently create high-quality social content across a range of platforms and formats - in line with brand guidelines and social platform best practices
  • Independently come up with social-first ideas, write scripts and storyboard client assets
  • Lead creatively on high-end social first content ideas that can be executed within the content plans and budget of each account or project, from conception through to delivery
  • Independently write organic social first copy
  • Shoot and direct premium social first content on mobile phones and professional level cameras that can be edited for social
  • Work with the Client Services, Creative and Strategy teams to understand project scope and objectives
  • Lead on creating distinctive social-first visual styles and identities for each project and client
  • Produce work that is within the timeline of each project whilst not compromising on quality
  • Stay current with emerging production tools, technology and platform formats
  • Have your finger on the pulse on what works on social and the different roles of platforms
  • Quality checking final output and delivered files

Background and Experience

  • Background and experience in producing short-form content for social media specifically
  • Experience using social media apps from a creator POV such as Tik Tok, Instagram And Youtube
  • Experience at a advertising/marketing agency preferred
  • Experience using Adobe CS in particular Premiere Pro
  • Exceptional organisational and planning abilities with great attention to detail
  • Strong social media focused copywriting experience preferred
  • You have experience staying up to date with trends and understand what creatively works best for each platform, whether this is YouTube, Instagram or Tik Tok

Breakdown of Time Management:

20% Content Ideation:
Researching, brainstorming and scrolling to generate content ideas that align with the client's brand and social pillars. This involves staying updated on social platforms, trends and cultural movements to ensure relevance and effectiveness.

50% Content Creation
Executing approved content ideas by sourcing imagery/videos, shooting content when necessary, and handling all aspects of design and editing. This covers the full creative process for final content that is published on social media.

10% Copywriting
Crafting captions that accompany social media posts, ensuring they align with the client's brand and tone of voice.

15% Paid Social Management:
Overseeing the paid social campaigns by tailoring content, copy, and creatives to meet objectives like sales or awareness. Managing the client's budget, making adjustments based on campaign performance, and advising on optimal budget spend.

5% Client Management:
Sending draft and final social content plans to clients, incorporating feedback on ideas, copy and creative to ensure alignment with client expectations.

(Ad Hoc) Reporting & Social Strategy Reviews:
Compiling and analysing reports for organic and paid social activities. Preparing & presenting quarterly reviews that assess content performance and relevant industry trends to guide future strategies.
