Guildford Spectrum is looking for a new Duty Manager to join their friendly and professional team in our Bowling Centre. This is an exciting time to be joining the team, and we are looking for individuals who have strong people skills, are able to get stuck in as you will be directly supervising a team of staff to ensure the effective and efficient operation of the department. You will oversee the recruitment and development of staff at all levels within the team, and dealing with day to day staff management, including training and staff performance issues. You will need to promote and maintain good public relations and excellent customer service, and to be fully aware of the courses, facilities and programmes available in the Bowling complex.

The good thing is that we provide you with full training and great potential for career progression, we have over 100 facilities across England and Wales – many of our staff have built successful careers with us because they love the having a positive impact in their local communities and enjoy the variety that the role provides.

Hours: 7.5 hours a week - Monday to Sunday (rota basis)

Requirements

  • Experience of a Customer facing environment
  • Experience of working in a Supervisory role
  • The skill to establish key relationships with staff, customers and other user groups
  • Excellent Communications skills, with the ability to deal with people at all levels
  • Have a 'hands-on' approach
  • Cash handling experience preferable
  • Experience of working within a Team
