Key roles include, but not limited to:

  • Tractor driver to operate a high spec Fendt 942
  • Drilling with 6m Lemken Combination drill / 8m Vaderstad rapid
  • Bed tilling with 6m standen bed tiller / granular applicator
  • Operating a 30 tonne Hawe chaser bin
  • Responsible for undertaking general cultivations
  • Undertake tractor and trailer work if required during the peak harvest period
  • Any other duties around the business as required

Requirements

  • An understanding of precision farming and modern agricultural machinery
  • PA1/2/4S+G qualifications an advantage although training can be given
  • A good attention to detail and strong commitment to environmental protection
  • Experience of large scale cultivation / drilling operations
  • Positive, Professional manner
  • Proactive and flexible approach to work
  • Willing to take responsibility and ownership for tasks
  • Ability to work under own initiative but also as part of a multifunctional team
  • Demonstrate a proactive attitude and commitment to health and safety
  • Good record keeping and communication skills
