We’re looking for a Learning and Development Specialist to join our team in Kings Hill, West Malling, 12-month fixed contract.

Join our team and make a lasting impact on our European learning and development function! As Learning and Development Specialist, you'll design and implement engaging induction plans and e-learning content to ensure a positive onboarding experience for new hires. Your role will be instrumental in shaping our learning culture and driving employee development across multiple countries in Europe this includes Netherlands, France, Germany and Spain.

Responsibilities include:

• Assists to formulate learning and development plans based on business and organisational needs.
• Create online training resources and materials to drive a ‘self- service’ approach to meet colleague needs.
• Design and deliver engaging induction and onboarding programs that make new hires feel welcome and valued.
• Develop engaging and innovative e-learning content to capture learners' attention, catering to diverse learning styles, and make the training methods more effective.
• Provide engaging training experiences in various formats (classroom, online, blended).
• Actively assess the continued effectiveness of learning activities and reviewing the quality of learning solutions.
• Collaborate with People and Culture, subject matter experts, and stakeholders to align learning initiatives with business goals.

Requirements

• Experience proven in Learning and Development.
• Understanding and confident use of digital learning technologies.
• Up to date with L&D trends and practices.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Highly proficient in use of PowerPoint, Excel and Word programs.
• Ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels.

Desirable:

• Proven experience in European Learning and Development.
• Experience in designing and delivering training programs for both IT and non-IT roles.
• Experience working in a blue-collar industry is preferable.
• Additional other European language like German, French, Dutch proficient level appreciated.
