The key aim of this role is to support Flooid in managing, purchasing and reporting on the company’s software licensing provided by multiple 3rd party vendors.

In addition, the role will report on, make recommendations on and drive improvements and optimisations on the public cloud spend via our primary cloud vendor. This role will represent a close partnership between Operations, Finance and Legal/Compliance to ensure both Customers and Flooid meet their efficiency and compliance goals and objectives.

  • Collating and presenting a unified view on all Flooid 3rd party licenses, including allocation, validity dates & order status
  • Working closely with Operations and Finance to run and optimise the software licensing process, including placing licensing orders
  • Reporting on overall licensing status to senior leadership, at a high level, and identifing potential issues, risks and improvements
  • Liaising with 3rd party vendors to confirm pricing, managing access to web portals and information and driving the partnership
  • Supporting the business with managing the software licensing process(es) and monitoring their effectiveness in driving improvement and optimsiations that benefit Flooid and its customers
  • Managing audits (internal and external) in relation to licensing, including collecting and collating relevant information
  • Reporting on public cloud spending, including discounts, usage and forecasting, as well as improving insights for the business
  • Driving changes to optimise costs and managing overall spend. This may involve scoping, agreeing and planning technical changes and tracking these via reporting
  • Working with our cloud suppliers and partners to understand potential optimsiations, new offerings and SKUs and how they may be able to positively impact Flooid
  • Managing tools or services for software licensing and public cloud

Requirements

  • Broad knowledge of software licensing
  • Broad knowledge of public cloud principles and technologies
  • Ability understand and distil complex information into high level views and reports for a variety of audiences
  • Commercial mindset
  • Excellent stakeholder management and ability to work with a variety of people and teams at different levels
  • Ability to manage and maintain multiple systems
  • Excellent customer facing and communication skills
