We're on the hunt for a Learning Architect to address a critical learning gap within our 36-person Operations team. Our goal is to develop a world-class, credible learning resource that supports team members from day one, providing structured, accessible knowledge on complex topics like payments, reconciliation, and customer support. Currently, much of our expertise is locked within the minds of key individuals, making it challenging to create a scalable, consistent learning experience for new starters and existing team members. By building tailored digital learning journeys within our LMS, Seismic, we aim to capture and deliver this expertise, ensuring our team has the resources to excel in a complex and nuanced environment.

Responsibilities:

Design and Develop Digital Learning Journeys

    • Create comprehensive digital learning journeys covering vital operational processes such as payments, reconciliation, and customer support.
    • Develop structured, interactive content that supports team members from day one, fostering a solid foundational understanding of complex topics.
    • Collaborate with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs)
    • Partner closely with SMEs to capture critical knowledge and translate it into engaging, digestible learning content.
    • Conduct regular meetings and content reviews with SMEs to ensure accuracy, relevancy, and alignment with operational needs.

Identify Key Learning Needs

    • Assess and prioritize the learning needs of the Operations team to ensure content is relevant, impactful, and fills existing knowledge gaps.
    • Design scalable learning solutions that can be customized to address varying skill levels and knowledge areas within the team.

Develop Bespoke, SCORM-Compliant Content

    • Create engaging, bite-sized SCORM-compliant content that seamlessly integrates with our LMS, Seismic.
    • Utilize e-learning authoring tools to design and deliver modules that are easy to navigate, interactive, and support high knowledge retention.

Ensure Content Accessibility and Brand Consistency

    • Develop content that meets diverse accessibility needs, adhering to best practices and accessibility standards (e.g., WCAG).
    • Maintain brand consistency in visual and instructional design to create a cohesive learning experience across all materials.

Implement Feedback Loops and Continuous Improvement

    • Regularly gather feedback from learners and stakeholders to evaluate the effectiveness of the learning materials.
    • Use data and feedback to iterate and continuously improve the learning resources, ensuring they remain relevant and effective in meeting team needs.

Requirements

  • Strong skills in instructional design, with experience creating end-to-end digital learning journeys for complex processes.
  • Proficiency with e-learning authoring tools (e.g., Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate) to create SCORM-compliant, interactive content suitable for an LMS.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to effectively work with SMEs, gather insights and translate expertise into structured learning content.
  • Ability to assess team learning needs, analyze knowledge gaps, and design targeted solutions to bridge them.
  • Familiarity with accessibility standards (e.g., WCAG) to ensure content is accessible and inclusive for all users.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills to handle multiple projects, meet deadlines, and adapt to evolving priorities.
  • Strong eye for visual design and branding, ensuring all learning materials are engaging, on-brand, and reflect a high level of creativity.
