We know technology and data make marketing better.  But that’s only true if it was built for the purpose it’s being used for. 

We are seeking a proven B2B Marketing leader to be the 3rd person of a small but mighty marketing team. You will play a pivotal role in the ideation, crafting and execution of marketing strategies and tactics that showcase the value of our capabilities to our target audience and ultimately drive revenue in support of a rapidly growing and internationally expanding business.

This opportunity is for someone who is excited about building upon the early foundations for our marketing department, leveraging best practice and helping scale the company through next phase of growth from a UK base on an international basis, including the USA and ASEAN regions during 2025 by increasing awareness, consideration and ultimately purchase in three key industry buyer groups, namely client-side marketeers, marketing agencies and B2B publishers.

The ideal person would have 10+ years in marketing roles and a deep understanding of the B2B marketing function coupled with innovative brand awareness tools and demand generation actions combined with a passion for commercialization of the function and, critically, driving business impact in addition to revenue contribution. Ideally, you’d already have a personal brand and presence amongst your B2B industry peers to leverage within the industry as an opinion former and influencer for FunnelFuel moving forwards.

We are a growing voice in a crowded industry in an area that is often underappreciated, occasionally mis-understood, much less optimised effectively but increasingly going to have a significant impact (positive and negative) on key constituents in the industry (B2B Client-side advertisers, agencies and publishers alike). 

As such we’re looking for someone with proven capability across the marketing mix delivering effective awareness comprehension and demand in the B2B industry but equally is comfortable with the realities of a small company, in resource terms, who are determined we can be at the forefront of disruptive, positive change for all to benefit from.

The status quo should not suffice the modern B2B marketer and we’re here to catalyse the necessary industry pivot to capitalise on a new potential in the digital advertising marketing landscape.

A lot of what we’re doing as a company has never been done before in B2B terms, so we’ve no legacy to hold us back - only our ability to fulfil the potential ahead of us.


What you'll be doing: 🗓

●      You will be accountable for the marketing strategy, campaign ideation and delivery, GTM messaging iterations, public relations, demand generation, influencer relations, social media and live in-market testing.

●      Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, create and execute go-to-market plans

●      Setting, influencing and executing the marketing plan with the purpose to drive, progress and convert pipeline, strengthen brand awareness and to attract and engage our target audience

●      Being the POC for all things marketing for the internal sales and programmatic teams

●      Identifying and targeting key influencers and target audiences with appropriate marketing vehicles complementing our own delivery capabilities.

●      We’re aiming to be social marketing led so a high degree of comfort and capability with LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook and other key B2B Social engines is important.

●      Accountable for the pipeline generation number towards target, and accordingly collaborate with sales and operations to overachieve on those numbers.

●      Hands on and accountable for marketing planning and execution

●      Organisational design and focus supported by key agencies and freelancers where appropriate

●      Clear communication around follow up and measurements of programs & investments

●      Align and communicate plans and successes to key business stakeholders

●      Monitor, measure and reporting of investments and initiatives to the business

●      Lead, coach and advise our wider team in their amplification of FF in market actions

●      Proactively identify growth hacks and opportunities to secure an advantage, positioning FunnelFuel as a market leader.

●      Identify and leverage customer success stories to build trust and credibility in the market.

●      Help take FunnelFuel to a leader in the programmatic / ad tech space

●      Reporting to CMO and Head of Client Success  Paul Collier

What you'll need:  🧰

●      5 years of marketing leadership experience in a fast-paced B2B environment.

●      10+ years of experience leading or direct influencing of international marketing teams, ideally in B2B industry client side or agency side.

●      Excellent stakeholder management and reporting into senior leadership

●      Proficient in campaign ideation and delivery

●      Broad understanding of public relations & influencer relations in the context of social marketing

●      Multichannel marketing experience

●      Proven ability to orchestrate social based in market actions to drive awareness and ultimately bottom-line business results

●      Creative, personable and a team player

●      Proven experience in startup /scale-up business would be an advantage

Nice to haves: 🧁

·       Demonstrating understanding and practical use or learning (success or failure!) of AI tools in the marketing for B2B

·       Previous experience of AdTech marketing would be advantageous

·       Knowledge of Hubspot

·       Experience or understanding of the programmatic / digital advertising supply chain dynamics & key players / influencers

·       Direct experience of B2B Agency or Publisher environments would be a bonus

·       Webinar / podcast / social broadcasting software tools is a plus
