An exciting new opening with a modern high technology factory automation and metrology company in Nottingham looking to build their team with one or two new specialist engineers.   They develop integrated solutions in the fields of “Adaptive Robot Control”, robotic inspection and
dynamic tracking (including robot performance testing).  

Salary 25K to 30K !!!! (Depending on experience)   Excellent training and career progression.  

We are seeking the right people to develop into Applications Engineers and Software Engineers to work for a growing business.   A 2.1 or higher in a technical degree is ideally required some experience. 

These positions require excellent numeracy, therefore you will need strong mathematics qualifications as Statistical Process Control is required.

We do not expect to find candidates fully experienced, rather those with capabilities, drive and ambition to develop into experts in one or more of the following areas:
o Robots and automation
o Digital manufacturing
o Metrology
o Software

The successful candidate will be a good “people person” as this is a customer facing role, where communication and presentation skills are essential.  As they have a number of commercial partners, and pre-sales and post sales technical support is a key element of the work. 
Working in a small team you must be able to work independently to achieve agreed objectives.
You must be mobile with a full UK driver’s license.
The function of Systems Engineer will require travel all around the country and stay overnight (occasionally on short notice) and occasionally abroad if required.
You should be capable of normal physical work (lifting and moving equipment in and out of cars / vans) and be prepared to help out wherever is required for successful delivery of projects.

 This expanding company also develop their own solutions, and therefore, the following skills/experiences are also of interest:
• Knowledge of Python, C# and Java
• PLC programming
• Project Planning (PERT, GANNT etc)
• CATIA/Delmia/3DX
