General Operative
AQUMEN Recruitment has long term opportunities for General Operatives at a busy manufacturing site in Castleford.
As a General Operative you will be responsible for the manufacturing of a market leading, quality product whilst ensuring that the highest standards of Health & Safety are adhered to at all times.
The duties of a General Operative include:
- Operating Machinery
- Bench work using hand tools
- Quality checking for damages
- Repairing damaged products
- Lifting and repetitive work
- FLT Counterbalance Licence (Desirable)
Hours of work for the General Operative are on a rotating shift patter as follows
- Monday – Friday 06:00 – 14:15
- Monday – Friday 14:00 – 22:15
- Sunday – Thursday 22:00 – 06:15
Pay rate for the General Operative position is £9.00 to start rising to £10.29
We would like to invite applications from Warehouse Operatives, General Operatives, Production Operatives, Construction Workers and Labourers.
The site is a short walk from Castleford Train and Bus station and is easily accessible from Castleford, Pontefract, Normanton, Garforth, Rothwell, Knottingley, Featherstone and the surrounding areas.
