TRAINEE TRAFFIC MANAGEMENT TRAINING & EMPLOYMENT COURSE

A great opportunity for anyone who is a Wolverhampton Council Resident to receive support and training leading to agency / contract work within the traffic management industry upon successful completion of the course.  

We have inductions at our Halesowen training HQ on Friday 28th June at 11.00 am.  To be invited to this you must apply online and have been called and sent an official email.  You must be able to pass a drug & alcohol test, be unemployed and NOT currently in education to be accepted onto the course.

This fully funded training leads into employment as a Trainee Traffic Management Operative.  There is the opportunity of employment for all of those who complete the training and show commitment to the role. There are also flexible working hours / days for people who require it

What you will get:

• Two weks & two days of training to obtain your qualifications / tickets and a thorough understanding of the sector that is delivered on site at our HQ in Halesowen
• Three qualifications / tickets TTMBC, T1 / T2 (12D) & your Highways England Passport are fully funded and are FREE!!!!!!  As long as you meet the eligibility criteria and commit to the programme.
• TTMBC - You will learn about; Terminology, Health and Safety, Equipment, Safety Zones, Basic Principles of Temporary Traffic Management and Site Practice, Maintaining a closure
• T1/T2 (12D) & Manual Handling qualifications - You will learn about; Quality assurance, National Highway Sector Schemes, Health & Safety, Risk Assessments / Method , Highway terminology, Types of work, Equipment & vehicles
• Work with our empkloyers throughout the West Midlands and join our sister company and agency, Vocation Recruitment
• Live job vacancies, real employers
• PPE provided for and paid for via your training

All of the qualifications / training are fully funded and are FREE!!!!!!  As long as you meet the criteria and commit to the programme.

What is required:

• You must have a full UK driving license and no more than 6 points  
• Must be a Wolverhampton Council resident to be eligible
• All criminal convictions are accepted with the exception of sexual offences
• MUST be able to pass a drug and alcohol test before starting training
• You must be 19 years old & over
• You must have been a UK Resident for 3 years or more
• You must NOT be in college, university or in any employment
• The full use of your arms, legs and body
• Happy to work outdoors, early starts, some weekends & night work required
• Good eyesight
