£45,000 - £55,000/annum Plus car allowance and benefits

In this role the successful candidate would be working as part of the Mechanical and Electrical Services Asset Surveying/Asset Management

Roles and Responsibilities –

 

•      Carrying out site surveys to capture and condition grade existing sites mechanical and electrical services assets.

•      Working as part of a Team or individually on the Surveys.

•      Surveys can be anywhere in the UK and may require staying away from home.

•      Producing word report system descriptions.

•      Surveys include –

Full Asset Condition and Lifecycle Survey

All existing assets graded A – D (typically as below) with remedial works given a Priority Rating:

Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) Surveys

An asset management strategy that assists Estates Managers to establish the condition of a property and identify any potential future building maintenance requirements usually over a 5 to 10-year period.

Latent Defect Surveys

Typically towards the end of defects liability period on a Building Construction Contract, where clarity on any defects is required before the breach of contract time period runs out so that the building owner or manager can claim economic loss.

Dilapidation Surveys

Generally undertaken during a Lease Term or towards the end of a tenancy.

Environmental Testing

We have the in-house capability to carry out Environmental Testing using calibrated instruments including:

Lighting Lux Levels.

Acoustic Sound Measurements.

Ventilation Flow Rates.

Recordings of Surface Temperature of pipework, heat emitters and water services.

Requirements – experience:

 

•      Experience and good working knowledge in mechanical and electrical services, engineering consultancy and/or mechanical and electrical installations.  

•      Good working knowledge of industry regulations, mechanical design and installations

•      Able manage/prioritise workload to meet deadlines whilst maintaining good communication with client and design teams
