Our client based in the Walsall area are currently recruiting for a Mental Health Paralegal to join their team on a full time, permanent basis.
Main duties include but are not limited to:
- Advise and complete documentation and progressing matters through various stages in preparation for hearing.
- Interview clients.
- Travel to see clients at various locations in the Midlands area.
- Draft and file documents with Court and prepare Court Bundles.
- Make legal aid applications.
The ideal candidate will:
- Must have use of own car and possess a full clean driving licence.
- Have excellent communication skills.
- Must have good time management skills and be reliable.
- Have strong spelling and grammar skills.
- Must be able to work well under pressure.
This role would suit an enthusiastic person who is looking to develop their skills and experience.
You MUST have a full clean driving licence and your own car.
Legal experience with working knowledge of legal aid procedures would be advantageous but not essential as training will be given.
