Job Title:   Mechanical Fitter

Excellent opportunity for an experienced Mechanical Fitter from a manufacturing / engineering environment.
 

We have worked with this client for several years; they offer a first class working environment and the opportunity to work in the Manufacturing sector.

Mechanical Fitter– Main Duties:

• Bogie overhaul, damage repair and engineering
• Wheel set overhaul, repair and analysis
• Bogie chassis, damage repair and clean
• Bogie and gearbox engineering / repair
• Wheel exchange on wheel sets
• Bearing, axle and wheel mounting
• Components and sub-assemblies overhaul repair and analysis
• Re-engineering and production of spare parts

They require a Mechanical fitter with a minimum 5 years’ experience.

Qualifications / Skills/ Experience:

• Apprentice trained mechanical fitter or at least 5 years experience

Salary / Hourly Rates:

PAYE: £16.82 - £17.35 per hour.

Overtime is £21.07 then £21.72 after 3 months

Rotating weeks.
Mornings:

Mon-Thursday:
06.00 - 14.00
Fri: 06.00 - 12 noon 

Afternoons:

Mon-Thurs: 14.00 - 22.00 & Fri: 12.00 - 18.00

Nights: Monday to Thursday: 22.00 - 06.00.
Friday: 18.00 - Midnight.

Successful candidates must pass a drugs & alcohol test before starting.
