H&S Advisor - Fit Out Specialists

Company:

Currently our client is seeking a H&S Advisor who has previous experience in fit out & joinery projects. Ideally you would have also worked on fit out projects.

Ideally you would have previously worked on large construction packages over £50m in value.

This contractor have gained a very prestigious name in the construction industry (specifically in the fit out world). They have over 30 years trading history and have worked alongside some of the best developers/main contractors who regularly repeat purchase.

H&S Advisor Key Responsibilities:​

• Ensure policies & procedures are implemented
• Liaise with client H&S Manager and others in the client team
• Chair internal site H&S meetings
• Attend client H&S meetings
• Support site team on all H&S aspects
• Review safe systems of work  
• Attend and advise during safe start meetings
• Conduct safety stand downs and tool box talks
• Manage day to day H&S activities on site
• Conduct workplace inspections and report findings
• Conduct investigations in to accidents or incidents and report on findings

H&S Advisor Requirements:

• Previously worked in a H&S position
• Must have a construction background
• Must have a relevant qualification in H&S management
• Previous experience working on large fit out projects is highly desirable.
