• Basic Salary £28,000 to £30,000 per annum (depending on experience and qualifications, negotiable)
• Full-time, permanent
• Hours of work- Monday-Friday alternate weeks 7:00-15:30 / 9:00-17:30pm

Transport Planner – Manchester – Roles and Responsibilities

• Route and plan HGV vehicles (18t / artic) – Collections & Deliveries
• Route and plan multi drop deliveries
• Arrange with approved hauliers for transport of cargo, confirm availability of equipment and agree prices where no tariff exists, to maximise cost effectiveness
• Liaise with Courier / Haulage Exchange to ensure 3rd party jobs covered and delivered
• Maintain awareness of and follow transport regulations, where relevant to confirm to all statutory requirements

Transport Planner – Manchester – Skills and Experience

• Previous Experience planning HGV routes
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
• Excellent problem-solving skills
• Attention to detail and accuracy in data analysis
• Proficient in using transportation management systems and software
• A full UK driving licence
