Are you a Fabricator/Welder looking for work?

We are recruiting for a well-established engineering company that specialise in heavy duty fabrication.

They have urgent requirements for a MIG Welder/Fabricator.

The Job Role

  • Working within a production and engineering manufacturing environment.
  • Liaising with the production management to keep them updated on production targets
  • Attending production meetings when required to provide input/knowledge to maintain productive environment plus any other topics which need to be addressed.
  • Using measuring and quality equipment
  • Reading from advanced Engineering Drawings
  • Working with raw materials
  • Working in Fast Paced Production environment

Experience/Requirements

  • 3+ years of MIG welding & fabrication experience.
  • Previous experience within a similar role
  • Experience with heavy duty Fabrication
  • Ability to read engineering drawings
  • Work to high standard keeping within deadlines
  • Following health and safety procedures.
  • To be able to work as part of a team
  • To ensure that the shop floor is safe/clean.

The Package

  • Rate depending on experience starting at £14 per hour and will be reviewed after probation period.
  • Day shift Monday-Friday
  • On site staff parking.
  • Part of a large company with the opportunity to progress to more senior roles and possibility of working at different sites.
