Salary/Rate:
£35,000 - £45,000/annum

An established Accountancy practice based in Suffolk are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Accountant to join their small, friendly team. This is a permanent position offering both full time and part time hours.  This is an office based role with an immediate start. You must be eligible to work within the UK.

Hours: Monday  - Friday 

Salary: £35,000 - £45,000 (per annum)

Responsibilities to include:
• Preparation of financial statements for companies, sole traders and partnerships,
   including the associated business tax compliance work.
• Preparation of self-assessment tax returns
• Review and prepare VAT returns
• Provide financial analysis and recommendations, both internally and to our clients
• Accountable for job budgets and ensuring that work is completed efficiently.  
• Attending relevant CPD and soft-skill training

Requirements:
• ACA, ACCA qualified preferable
• At least 5 years of recent experience in an accountancy practice
• Experience with accounting software and financial reporting systems, in particular
   Xero, Quickbooks, Sage
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
