Work hour: Shift patterns; on August from 7am - 3.30pm OR 10.30am - 7pm OR 8am - 4.30 OR  9am - 5.30pm (flexible) - From September 4 on, 4 off - 7am - 7pm  

Pay Rate: £24k p/a or £11.54/hour

Randstad Sourceright, a leading provider of RPO & MSP Recruitment Services is currently seeking a Help Desk Operative on behalf of a well established Facilities Management company on a 3 months temporary contract to perm.

In this role you will be working on responding to, planning and organising the full life cycle of all facilities management work from customer enquiry to job completion. Some of the other duties will include but are not limited to:

  • First point of contact for incoming telephone calls and service requests received by telephone, fax and email

  • Interpret and log work order requests, inputting details into an in-house system

  • Understand, identify and apply the SLA for each service request and set expectation with customer, prioritising urgent jobs

  • Support management with the collation of accurate and punctual regular reports as required

  • Assist with generating purchase orders for Reactive/Quoted works, Minor Works and PPM using the purchasing system Coupa

  • Invoice and credit approvals – 3 Way Match, Quality checking invoice/credit for correct value and matching information to the PO, dispute discrepancies with subcontractors or suppliers

  • Chase appropriate parties for supporting information if not in place

  • Onboarding new suppliers onto Coupa

  • Review and update POEM and GRIR, and etc

Requirements for this position: 

  • Helpdesk, scheduling or call centre background is essential

  • Able to operate Microsoft Office and any other CRM systems

  • An excellent telephone manner with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels 

  • Strong communications skills in both telephone and correspondence/report handling
