If so, an exciting opportunity awaits you! We are actively seeking a talented Manager of Teaching & Learning to join our vibrant team in Cambridge.

As The Manager of Teaching & Learning, you will play a crucial role within the College team, focusing primarily on contributing to various administrative practices that bolster teaching strategies, implement curriculum changes, and uphold academic quality processes. You will be collaborating closely with the academic services team and Senior Tutors, you will oversee key responsibilities such as coordinating the onboarding, support, and training of teaching staff, managing the setup and utilization of Learning Management Software (Moodle), facilitating academic enhancement programs, conducting curriculum reviews, and providing support for new program development initiatives. Additionally, you hold the responsibility of line management for up to 50 sessional academic staff and work in tandem with the Manager of Academic Services within the same team.

Hours of Work: Full-Time, Permanent

Manager of Teaching & Learning Requirements:
  • Undergraduate degree
  • Curriculum development
  • Experience of working as a leader of people within an education setting
  • Curriculum development
  • At least 3 years' experience of working in an educational setting: School, College, or Higher Education
  • Experience of upholding and imparting policy and regulations
  • Knowledge of equal opportunity, equity and workplace health and safety principles
  • Experience of working in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience of working with and meeting the needs of different stakeholders
  • Experience handling and prioritising multiple workloads.
Desirable:
  • Experience of budget reporting
  • Postgraduate degree Recognised Teaching qualification PGCE/Cert Ed
  • Knowledge of an academic life cycle
  • Experience of working with data systems
  • Knowledge of equal opportunity, equity and workplace health and safety principles
