Our client is looking for an experienced furniture upholsterer to carry out all aspects of upholstery in a busy, fast-paced manufacturing setting.
Experience in upholstering a diverse range of chairs and sofas using bespoke fabrics is essential along with an understanding of modern & traditional upholstery methods.
You will have a good knowledge of fabric, foam and wood used in upholstering and the technicalities of furniture assembly coupled with flair & an attention to detail.
Key Skills:
- Quality driven and a fine eye for detail
- Punctual & reliable
- Flexible in all aspects of work to include pieces and fabric.
- Previous experience of working in upholstery in a manufacturing setting (minimum 5 years)
- Experience in upholstering products from stools to furniture such as sofas, chairs and booths.
- Experience in the use of staple guns and job specific tools.
- High quality of work in order to meet a fast-paced production delivery schedule.
Processes include:
- Safe Staple gun operation.
- Light Assembly
- Heat lance operation
- Drill operation
- Understanding of different fabrics

Working 40 hours per week. The working hours are Monday – Thursday, 7am – 4pm & Friday, 7am – 1pm
Rate of pay is up to £14.50ph
