£55,000 - £70,000/annum + Fully expensed company van

Industrial Electrician 
Quarrying & Aggregates industry 

Starting Rate: £19 p/h | Salary: £50,000 - £70,000 P/A
50 Hours minimum per week is expected, salary £55,000+
Minimum Hours: Monday to Friday 50 hours per week (6am starts usually) 
Overtime: X1.5 Overtime pay in the week & X2 on Sunday.

Benefits: 50% local working (starting at home every day), 50% working away with good overtime 30-50 Hours available per month, Travel time paid at 22p per mile, Fully expensed Company Van, Fuel Card, Mobile Phone, Laptop/IPAD, 20 Days Holiday + 8 Bank Holidays, 8% Pension, nice hotel fully expensed with breakfast/meal allowance when away, premium uniform and PPE provided.

Auxtronic is partnered with a leading electrical contractor and systems integrator, specialising in Electrical Installations for the Aggregates and Building Product industries across the UK & Europe.

Established for over 35 years and still a family run business with a great atmosphere, the company prides themselves on their ability to deliver high quality electrical equipment to their customers including: Asphalt, Cement & Lime, Concrete, Brick & Roof tile manufacturers aswell as construction materials.  

Their services include Control Panel Design & Manufacturer, MCC's, Switchgear, Electro-Mechanical Automation, Installations & Commissioning, Maintenance contracts and Testing & Inspection, some of their customers have been with them for over 20 years.

Impressive offices in the UK with an experienced team of electricians, designers, project managers and plans to grow considerably this year in line with their increased order book. 

Job title: Industrial Electrician

- Working alongside a 3-5 man team responsible for carrying out electrical installations throughout the East Midlands and UK within the Quarrying & Aggregates industry. 

- Typical projects include the installation and commissioning of Control Circuits, LV Equipment, Three Phase Distribution boards, Control Panels, Conveyor systems, power & distribution, E-Lighting, SWA Cabling and containment.

- Working through schematic wiring diagrams to ensure projects as installed correctly. 

- Other smaller projects will include routine and breakdown maintenance.

- Ensuring quality craftsmanship is reflected in completed projects and health & safety standards are met. 

Entry Requirements:

  • 5 Years experience as an Industrial Electrician.
  • 2 Years minimum within the heavy industry (Aggregates, Quarrying, Mining, Recycling) 
  • Approved Electrician with a recognised Level 3 qualification in Electrical Installation, JIB/ECS Gold Card and AM2.
