Power Platform Developer required by our market leading, award winning, professional services organisation. This role will be remote with 1-2 days a month onsite in Central Bristol.

The successful Power Platform Developer will join a fast-paced Software Development Team. You will need to be passionate about Microsoft Power Platform have experience in custom workflow development and business process applications.  This role will suit a driven individual with experience in working on large projects, integrations and designing power app solutions.

Main Responsibilities Include:

  • Develop innovative Power Platform solutions through all stages of the SDLC and service transition.
  • Development, configuration, and customisation of Power Pages, Power Automate processes, Power Apps and its associated components using plugins, custom workflow assemblies, as well as extended Azure/Office 365 functionality.
  • Liaise with internal and external customers to understand their business and technical requirements, documenting required components such as data structure, workflow, dependencies, and then develop a technical solution to meet their needs.
  • Proficient in standard connectors with Power Apps and associated products.
  • Working with the wider Microsoft stack such as LogicApps, Azure Service Bus, WebJobs, Power BI, AI Builder, Power Pages.
  • Skilled in extending Power Platform using JavaScript-based web resources, with hands-on experience in Canvas Apps and Pages for model-driven application extension.
  • Develop and maintain system integrations or API with external partners and government APIs.
  • Integrating Power Apps and Power BI with various data sources, such as Microsoft Dataverse, SQL Server, SharePoint, etc.
  • Develop Power Portals, Power Pages reports, and dashboards for both internal and external clients.

Ideal Background

Recent experience with:

  • Power Apps development (canvas apps, custom pages, model-driven apps).
  • Power Automate development.
  • Power Platform ALM and custom connectors.
  • Azure Functions (C# development preferred).
  • HTML/CSS/JavaScript (in the Power Platform scope).
  • Microsoft SQL Server including T-SQL, SSRS and indexing/keys experience.
  • Dataverse including understanding of API and FetchXML.

Desirables:

  • PowerShell scripting.
  • Power Pages.
  • Power BI.
  • Understanding of data integration concepts and ability to connect to various data sources using connectors, gateways, etc.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, understanding of security and compliance best practices.
  • Experience working on multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Prior experience working within a Consultancy / Microsoft Partner environment.
  • Microsoft Power Platform Developer Certificates are a plus. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field is beneficial.
