Salary/Rate:
£16.50 - £17.70/hour Neg DOE + overtime

My client, a specialist high precision component and machine manufacturer, have a fantastic opportunity for a CNC Operator, with experience CNC Miling.

The Job:

  • Set and Edit programmes using Fanuc controls.
  • Experience of programming would be a distinct advantage.
  • Knowledge of manual machining would be desirable.
  • Must be able to read an interpret engineering drawings.
  • Inspection of own work using conventional measurement techniques
  • Confident CNC Miller or CNC turning

About you:

  • Experience of working within a metal cutting environment producing precision parts to tight tolerances
  • Experience of operating, setting up and editing of Milling Machines
  • Ability to read and understand technical drawings.
  • Confidence and the ability to work in a precision engineering environment and the ability to work on bespoke and one-off items.
  • Experience of CNC milling machines. Tooling and set-ups would be a distinct advantage.
  • Flexible to work rotating day shifts.
  • willing to work overtime as and when required
