The Role of the Junior Network Engineer

In this rewarding, customer-facing Junior NOC Engineer role, you’ll be a main point of contact for customer faults, providing great customer service along with managed service activities across our portfolio of enterprise networking products.

In the service desk management team the NOC Engineer we are looking for will be the first point of escalation for both internal and end users and customer base across a portfolio of enterprise and security networking products.You will work as part of a team to support and identify issues affecting customer systems and services, then perform 1st/2nd line diagnosis with a view to resolution.

The competencies that are essential to be successful in this role

  • Some experience in a networking role.

  • Understanding of Cisco CLI.

  • Managed and debugged Cisco Switches & Routers.

  • Working towards Cisco CCNA certification.

  • Experience with Cisco Meraki

  • Willing to learn and develop technical knowledge.

  • Ensuring great customer experience is provided through excellent service.
