Here at Romans Recruitment Group, we are retained by a well established Civil Engineering specialists, currently looking for a Assistant Quantity Surveyor with Groundworks experience, which is essential, to join their fantastic team at their Essex Head Office. You will be joining their Commercial Team to work alongside the Quantity Surveyor and Commercial Manager.

My client are both specialists in Groundworks and Civil Engineering, They work in the Residential, Commercial and Infrastructure, across Essex and Suffolk areas, They focus on client’s needs and deliver projects to an extremely high standard and invest so much into their staff to keep a brilliant, working environment.

Role and Responsibilities:

You will be reporting to the Quantity Surveyor and Commercial Manager
Establishing the client’s requirements
Help ensure the targets are achieved including project and programme cost, quality and time.
Health and Safety regulations
Assist in managing the costs of the project, budgeting and cash flows
Accurate measurement for valuations
Analyse progress and reporting
Opportunities and risks – Identification
Post tender and pre-contract meetings.
Report into the Commercial team and work closely with on projects
