We are working with an established company that specialising in manufacturing for the precision engineering industry. They are recruiting for a Quality Engineer to join their team due to expansion and are offering up to £42,000 per annum working on 4 day working week (Mon-Thu)
Key Responsibilities include:
- Maintain the QMS system and ensure compliance within the whole company
- To create & manage Quality Control plans using risk management
- Using the MRP system to record and control pass/ fail criteria
- Support production by creating inspection criteria and checking first off production items
- Leading internal audits, maintaining the audit schedule
- Conduct supplier audits either desk top reviews or site visits
- Use Corrective Action process for non-conformances to drive Continuous Improvement
- Support production in their NCR, customer complaints and corrective action processes.
- Keep informed of developments and updates in standard and regulations applicable
- To help develop a culture of CI within the Company
