We are looking for a Senior Mechanical Estimator to join our client at an exciting growth phase.

Key Responsibilities

• Analysing drawings and prepare and maintain cost estimates for review and tender submission.
• Coordinate within the Design, Commercial and Engineering teams in preparation for tender review and sign off.
• Able to produce own take offs
• Able to work independently and within a team
• Happy to attend all mid and post tender meetings
• Liaising with current and new clients
• Updating tender documents via companies system
• To be involved with the complete cycle of the tender process

Qualifications

• Experience tendering projects up to £10M
• Commercial experience required
• Must have previous experience within mechanical sector

Skills & Knowledge

• Must have good communication and relationship building skills in order to successfully build rapport with clients and within the supply chain.
• Attention to detail is vital as you'll be expected to identify engineering solutions to ensure bids remain competitive and profitable.
• Able to organize and priorities to meet deadlines.
• Excellent planning and organisation skills.
• Ability to carry out logical problem solving
• Excellent written and verbal communication.

Salary:

• £80,000 to £95,000
