Job Summary

The CNC Turner reports directly to the Machine Shop Supervisor and is responsible for the production of components from drawings, using Puma CNC Lathes. Working with tolerances up to 0.02mm. You'll need to be fully conversant in both metric and imperial measurements. You'll work as part of a small team which sees a great variety of components pass through the Machine Shop, so good teamwork and machining capability is essential to achieve the best results in a growing business. 

Key Skills and Experience

• Time-served CNC Turner with experience of Fanuc programming is essential
• Experience on Puma machine would be an advantage

Shifts

• • 37 Hours per week:
  • Day Shift during probation then moving to a 2 shift system

• Shift Pattern:
  • Early Shift - Monday to Thursday - 06:00 – 14:00, Friday 06:00 – 13:30    
  • Back Shift - Monday to Wednesday - 13:45 – 23:45, Thursday 13:45 – 22:45
