Pin Point Recruitment is looking for a HGV Technician for a manufacturing company based in West Thurrock.
Job Role:
- Service and inspect all vehicles to VOSA standard
- Diagnose and rectify any faults that may arise
- Identify and order parts as and when required
- Carry out breakdown when necessary
- To complete and maintain all documentation on the company’s vehicle maintenance system
HGV Technician Skills Required:
- Required to work in a busy HGV workshop, previous experience is essential.
- Responsibility for routine servicing and repairs; brakes; gearbox and clutch repairs
- Ensuring that work is always to the highest standard, seeking to achieve and repeat business
- Must have experience in heavy vehicle maintenance, repair and diagnostic.
- ADR Experience and knowledge essential
HGV Technician Hours and Rate of Pay:
- Hourly rate is £22.80
- Overtime Monday to Friday is paid at a basic rate
- Overtime Saturday is paid at time & half
- Overtime Sunday is paid at double time
