As an Assistant Quantity Surveyor, you will be reporting to the Quantity Surveyor and Commercial Manager and will play a crucial role in commercial management of individual rail / infrastructure / civil engineering projects across multiple national contracts as part of the greater contract delivery team from pre-contract stage through to completion. Job Description
- An integral member of the Commercial team, led by the Quantity Surveyor.
- Building a strong relationship with both internal and client counterparts.
- Commercial management of projects from pre-contract stage through to completion.
- Sub-Contract engagement / management including tender enquires, contract award, assessment of monthly payment applications.
- Assisting in the assessment and allocation of associated costs.
- Producing both internal and client forecasts.
Assistant Quantity Surveyor
Essential Experience/Skills/Qualifications
- Ideally you will be HND / Degree qualified or working towards qualification.
- Infrastructure / Civil Engineering / Rail experience desirable.
- Experience working with Microsoft Dynamics / CEMAR.
- NEC3 / 4 experience preferred.
- Excellent computer skills and knowledge (Word / Excel etc)
- Clean driving licence
