Estimator

The Company

A high-tech manufacturing company specialising in the welding and fabrication of stainless-steel assemblies and gas and fluid handling systems.

The Role

This is a position that will require a estimator to join our team their team and expand their estimating and assist with quoting activities. You will report directly to the Senior Estimator and/or Operation Director.

The work will include the following:

• Discussing clients’ requirements alongside the Sales team

• Creating a Bill of Materials

• Interpreting clients’ drawings and specifications

• Working with our production team to determine a manufacturing process and production times.

• Working with our supply chain to source parts and sub-contract activitie

• To work with the Sales team to promote proposal to client

• To handover project to purchasing and production on successful delivery of proposal

The Candidate

To apply for this role, you must

1.    Have experience or an active interest as an estimator within the manufacturing industry

2.    Technically and commercially aware, and able to understand and interpret drawings and other information.

3.    Accurate and numerate with great attention to detail.

4.    Able to compile and/or assist with detailed quotations.

5.    Able to manage their own workload, and that of their department, and achieve set deadlines.
