Are you a passionate vehicle Paint Technician/Restorer, looking for an exciting new role?

Coulter Elite Resourcing are currently looking for a Vehicle Paint Technician to work with one of their well-established and very successful clients based in Sandy working as part of their welding team.

Principle Responsibilities for the Vehicle Paint Technician:

• All stages of painting a vehicle including preparation, filling, spraying and polishing.
• Carry out preparation/ spray painting operations to the agreed method and of a high standard.
• Maintain and clean spray guns.

· Responsible for keeping all company tools and equipment safe and in a clean,

• Dispose of all paint, lacquer, thinners and general waste correctly.

Person specification:-

· Ideally you will be an experienced Paint Sprayer with a settled career history in a Bodyshop environment and be able to demonstrate a hand’s on and focus-driven approach.

· An excellent understanding of automotive systems and the specific materials required for the vehicle body repair process.

· The candidate will be an enthusiastic / driven individual that is also able to always deliver high-quality work.

· This position requires somebody with good attention to detail and who works to high standards at all times.

· Experience in metal working e.g, Welding and panel beating would also be beneficial.

You would be contracted to work 39 hours per week, Monday – Friday with a 10 minute break 10.00 am - 10.10 am and ½ hour lunch-break 1.00 pm - 1.30 pm.

Working Hours:

Monday 7.30 am - 1.00 pm / 1.30 pm - 4.00 pm

Tuesday 7.30 am - 1.00 pm / 1.30 pm - 4.30 pm

Wednesday/Thursday 7.30 am - 1.00 pm / 1.30 pm - 5.00 pm

Friday 7.30 am - 12 noon (unless working overtime).

Overtime is generally available paid at 1.5 times hourly rate Monday to Friday and Saturday mornings. It is expected that a reasonable amount of overtime be worked

This is a full time permanent Vehicle Paint Technician position, offering an hourly salary of up to £16.50 per hour.
