Taskmaster resources Ltd are working with a well-established client in Thorne, DN8 area who are one of the market leading manufacturers within their industry.

As a trusted and leading agency we are looking to recruit a tool slinger / setter to join their friendly team on a full time basis; immediate starts are available. There is no weekend work and overtime is available.

*Qualifications in Mould Mounting / Injection Moulding Technology would be a bonus!*

Role: To set up the production process in line with customer requirements, maintaining daily targets.

Duties and Responsibilities: (include but are not limited to the following).

• Ensure that the companies health safety and environment policy is adhered to.
• Aid Continuous Improvement and 5S.
• Read and understand all SOP’s and additional written instructions.
• Setting the process:
  1. Slinging and lifting.
  2. Mounting the mould.
• 3. Watering up of tools
• SMED activities.
• Adhering to work procedures.
• Responsible for daily/weekly safety checks.
• Report faults and failures to the toolroom and maintenance departments.
• Report Non-conformances immediately and assist with other departments in problem solving and NCR reporting.
• Highlight any safety issues to senior staff immediately.
• Cross train to other departments as required.
• FLT Licence
• Movement of Injection Mould Tools
• Maintain a positive work atmosphere, acting and communicating in a manner that is respectful to co-workers and customers.

Working hours:

The role is 40hrs/week, on a 3 shift rotation Days/Afters/Nights.

06:00 – 14:00 Monday - Friday

14:00 – 22:00 Monday - Friday

22:00 - 06:00 Monday – Friday

Pay rate:

Initial start pay would be £14.50/hr depending on skill, previous experience etc
