Plant Technician

Our client is seeking a skilled and proactive Plant Technician to join their team. This role is integral to ensuring the plant operates efficiently and safely.
This is a permanent position. Experience in the water treatment industry is an advantage.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide electrical and PLC support.
- Produce documentation and drawings for the plant PLC.
- Maintain electrical control systems
- Perform PLC modifications
- Fault finding in the regeneration plant, for sites, and on our control systems for mobile water treatment equipment.
- Ensure all electrical works comply with industry standards and safety regulations.
- Work collaboratively within an industrial environment, including assembly lines and other operational areas.
- Uphold strong Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) and quality control standards.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in industrial electrical works.
- Previous experience in an industrial area, assembly, or other operational roles.
- Certification in 17th or 18th Edition Wiring Regulations, or an NVQ3 in electrical-based units, or a similar qualification.
- Proficiency in drawing software.
- Strong EHS and quality awareness.
