Our cleint in Woodham is looking for a Transport Team Leader to work nights.

Job Description

• 4 on 4 off pattern
• Nights 18:00 - 06:00
• 20 Days holidays a year
• £28,000.00 salary plus overtime
• Monthly Pay

The successful candidate must be self-motivated, punctual, ambitious, and have attention to detail. You need to be proficient in using all current MS Office applications, as well as web services. You must be able to work under pressure and in a very fast paced environment.

Your daily duties will be to manage a SMB FMGCS haulage operation supplying logistics solutions to blue chip companies. You will manage the dispatch and arrival of drivers throughout your 12 hour shift based on a 4 on 4 off days pattern. You will be the face of the company when reporting to our customers, and providing updates and solutions to issues that arise throughout your shift.

Other tasks consist of but not exclusively the below

Support the Transport & Compliance Manager with adherence to all compliance and legal obligations during your shift with a huge emphasis on safety.

Assist with executing the daily plan for all deliveries and collections, with a keen eye on resource available at site and keep the Transport Manager updated.

Ensure all process and procedures are followed and that we operate a safe and efficient environment.
