Legal Secretary Corporate & Commercial Banking

Our client has an exciting opportunity for a Secretary to join their Corporate & Commercial Banking team. This friendly team is looking for someone with excellent secretarial skills to operate on a pool structure. You will be supporting them with a range of tasks in a timely and efficient way.

They’re happy for either full time or four days per week, or also happy to accommodate hours around school times for five days a week etc so can be quite flexible! You will be based in the office, with it likely being around 1 day working from home each week, though this can be discussed more depending on exactly what hours and days are worked as to what suits the team etc.

You will need prior legal secretarial experience, particularly in dealing with large documents such as numbering and amending documents, though experience directly within Corporate & Commercial Banking would be brilliant.

Some of your duties will include:

  • Document management;
  • Transcribing and proof-reading letters, emails and other correspondence;
  • Audio typing and some file management;
  • Typing of documents and track amendments;
  • Scanning, paginating and photocopying;
  • File opening, ID checks and preparation of client care letters; and
  • Providing general administration support to the team

A little about you

  • Strong document management skills, preferably legal documentation such as numbering and amending documents;
  • Confidence in formatting documents;
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills;
  • A good eye for detail;
  • Good organisation and time management abilities;
  • Excellent team player;
  • Great typing skills;
  • Motivated with a strong commitment to learning; and
  • Prior secretarial experience within this area of law would be advantageous
