You are a vet and good at your job, helping animals, trying to be the best you can be, and giving back to the industry you love.

Ideally, you will have 3-5 years of experience but there is some flexibility here.  A kind empathetic vet who is great with the customer is just as important as experience.   

This practice has a real ‘laid back family feel,’  where everyone pulls together when there’s work, and relaxes when it’s time.  A strong team that wants the best for patients and practice.

Without the shackles of a large vet group and the owner on-site, decisions can be made quickly and ideas are encouraged. They pride themselves on the highest level of care to local pets at affordable prices.  

With a team of 28, including seven vets you have colleagues with interests in felines, dentistry, ultrasound, orthopaedics and exotics so there will always be somebody to turn to if you need a helping hand.

With the size of the practice you can expect an interesting caseload with a real mix, expect a few exotics as well!  

They offer a 4-day week here 8.30 am – 6.30 pm and plenty of breaks with 1 in 3 Saturdays, 9 am -12.30 pm and no OOH’s.

£35k- £65k DOE, 5 weeks  holiday plus bank holidays. VDS and RCVS fees paid for, pension, plus discounted vet bills. Northwich has plenty of facilities,  a shopping centre, sports facilities, restaurants and bars within a short distance and The Peak District is only a short drive away. If want a little more action you have Chester, Manchester and Liverpool less than hour away.
