Our Cover Supervisor Programme is tailored to provide hands-on experience in schools across Lincoln and the surrounding areas. Key Responsibilities: As a Cover Supervisor, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining an effective learning environment by:

• Delivering pre-prepared lessons to students in the absence of the regular classroom teacher.
• Managing classroom behaviour and ensuring a positive and productive atmosphere.
• Supporting and engaging with students to facilitate their learning and development.
• Following the school's policies and procedures to ensure the safety and well-being of students.

It is essential that the appointed cover supervisor is calm and patient with pupils, has the ability to work within a team environment and has a positive ‘can do’ approach.

Requirements
To be considered for the position of Cover Supervisor, you will:

• Have a willingness to learn.
• A passion for the progress of secondary school pupils.
• Be a natural leader and someone with confidence to lead a lesson in the absence of the class teacher.
• Hold, or be prepared to undergo an Enhanced DBS, registered to the Update Service
