CBW has an excellent new opportunity for an electrical craftsperson to join a leading facilities company. This is covering a large commercial site where you will be carrying out various electrical maintenance and troubleshooting duties.
Key Responsibilities:
- Interpret and work from all instructions, drawings, and specifications appropriate to his/her own trade, without supervision
- Set up New Work appropriate to his/her own trade using relevant tools, equipment, and machinery, without supervision, as appropriate to his/her grade
- After appropriate training, work off tower scaffolding, MEWP’s, ladders, and step ladders and within confined spaces
- Carry out unsupervised maintenance and repairs and report any defects or unusual circumstances to the Supervisor
- Requirement to learn new techniques with training, as necessary
- Ensure all PPM and Reactive work is carried out effectively in compliance with maintenance instructions and response and repair times
- Diagnose and repair faults in engineering installation, plant, and equipment.
- To deal with new situations as they arise and pass on knowledge to others. To inform immediate Supervisors of any delays or difficulties encountered
- Electrical Installation – Approved apprenticeship with either:
City & Guilds 2360 Parts 1, 2, 3 or
City & Guilds 2330 Level 2, Level 3, (Level 4 – desirable) or
City & Guilds 2560 (2357) – Diploma
- 18th Edition of the Wiring Regulations (BS 7671 – 2018 Amendment)
- HTM-06-(02)(03) Competent Person for LV
- Driving licence (may be required to travel to seperate site)
- Salary between £30,000 - £34,000 DOE
