Your fixed 12-hour shift pattern means that your workweek is effectively complete in just three shifts, offering you a unique work-life balance and ample time to pursue personal interests and recharge.

You will be working along side 16 other experienced practitioners in a supportive team that will be on hand to assist and advise where necessary within a 24/7 service.

You will conduct Mental Health Act assessments for adults and children, provide urgent social care support outside core hours, and collaborate with multi-professional teams to ensure seamless service delivery. With the 12-hour shift pattern, enjoy a balanced work-life schedule while offering expert advice, handling complex cases, and promoting customer and carer engagement in service development. Requirements:
 
  • Hold AMHP qualification or possess significant experience in child protection as a Social Worker.
  • Enthusiasm, imagination, and creativity in problem-solving approaches.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to maintain professionalism and make sound judgments in high-pressure situations.
