Construction Planner - Residential Contractor/Developer

Our client is seeking a Planner to work with a leading Contractor/Developer specialising in new build residential contracts typically between 400 – 5000 units in London. They have an outstanding reputation for delivering high quality projects on time and budget and are regularly being awarded Large Housebuilder of the year, First Time Buyer Readers’ Award, and several WhatHouse? Awards.

The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in the planning and execution of our major projects, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to budget and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop detailed project schedules and plans.
• Coordinate with project managers, subcontractors, and stakeholders to ensure alignment and adherence to project timelines.
• Monitor project progress, identify potential delays, and implement corrective actions.
• Prepare and present regular progress reports to senior management.
• Utilise project management software to track and update project schedules.
• Assist in resource allocation and optimisation to enhance project efficiency.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Construction Planner in the residential construction industry.
• Proficient in project management software (e.g., Asta, MS Project).
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Relevant qualifications in construction management, engineering, or a related field.
