We have a great opportunity at HMP Hatfield to join the education team as our Employment Resettlement Co-ordinator on a permanent, part-time basis, working 18.5 hours a week.

What the role entails
As an Employment and Resettlement Co-ordinator you will provide support services for prisoners being released. You will be Responsible for the development, planning & implementation of site employer and client engagement/recruitment strategies which fully align local plans with local labour market demands, ensuring the curriculum offer and employment pathway within clusters meets the needs of offenders, employers and stakeholders.
You will actively promote the Novus apprenticeship offer, identifying and recruiting employers to engage within the programmes various levels to ensure activity is coordinated to achieve the required outcomes for learners and employers.
Work with lead Governors and HoLSEs, local providers, employers and JCP to create job opportunities for prisoners on ROTL and release..
Role requires travelling between 2 sites so candidate will need access to a vehicle.
What we need from you
To be successful in the role of Employment Resettlement Co-ordinator, you will need:
- Must have Level 2 in Literacy and Numeracy
- Must have Level 3 Information Advice and Guidance professional qualifications.
- Must have knowledge and experience of the skills system.
- Must be able to demonstrate Working in a complex environment related to employment and recruitment of disadvantaged groups.
- The role requires travelling between 2 sites (Hatfield Main & Hatfield Lakes) so the successful candidate will have access to a vehicle.
