Job Title: Review Team Manager (Adults Social Worker)

Location: Gateshead Council

Salary: £35 per hour

Job Type: Full-Time, Contract

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Social Worker to join our dynamic team as an Review Team Manager. This role involves managing a team of social workers and support staff, ensuring high-quality assessments, care plans, and reviews for individuals and families. As a Review Team Manager, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and enhancing the standard of our social care services.

Responsibilities:

• Lead, manage, and support the review team to deliver effective social work services.
• Conduct regular supervision and performance appraisals for team members.
• Ensure compliance with statutory regulations and council policies.
• Oversee the assessment and review processes, ensuring timely and accurate reporting.
• Work collaboratively with other departments and external agencies to coordinate care and support.
• Develop and implement strategies for continuous improvement in service delivery.
• Manage caseloads effectively, ensuring the highest standards of practice.
• Provide expert advice and guidance to team members on complex cases.
• Ensure the safeguarding of vulnerable individuals and promote their wellbeing.
• Monitor and manage budgets, ensuring efficient use of resources.

Requirements:

• Registered with Social work England
• A Degree in Social work or Diploma in SW, CQSW, CSS
• Right to Work UK
• Enhanced DBS check, dated within the last 12 months
• Previous experience in a Management or leadership role within a Adult social care setting

• Extensive experience in social work, with a focus on assessments and reviews.
• Strong understanding of relevant legislation, policies, and procedures.
