Axon Moore are working with a highly acquisitive services business who are searching for a Group Financial Accountant to join their team. We are looking for a qualified, technically strong financial accountant who is looking for their 1st move from practice or audit.
Reporting into the Group Financial Controller, you will be responsible for:
Axon Moore are working with a highly acquisitive services business who are searching for a Group Financial Accountant to join their team. We are looking for a qualified, technically strong financial accountant who is looking for their 1st move from practice or audit.
Reporting into the Group Financial Controller, you will be responsible for:
- Involvement in the production and timely submission of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting packs.
- Responsible for all monthly and ad-hoc reporting to Private Equity owners.
- Ownership of certain central cost centres, ensuring management accounts are accurate and challenging the results against budget.
- Responsible for maintaining detailed balance sheet reconciliations for all companies
- Prepare statutory accounts for all legal entities, including half-year and year-end Group accounts.
- Month-end ledger close for bank, accounts payable, accounts receivable and general ledger for all companies
- Assist with the Groups FP&A and M&A activities, including forecasting and modelling.
- Preparation of financial reports on a timely basis, providing accurate commentary and investigation into variances when required.
- Assist with new acquisitions where needed and ensure their results can be consolidated into the group accounts.
- ACA/ACCA Qualified
- Strong technical expertise in accounting principles, standards, and regulations
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and integrity in financial reporting and analysis.
- Possess strong numeracy and analytical skills, supported by excellent technical skills.
- Proactive team player with excellent organisational skills.
