Are you an experienced Motor Vehicle Technician looking for a new role with a fantastic growing company?
You will be joining a very friendly team with one of the UK’s vehicle hire companies who are always wanting to help and work together to achieve the best results possible!
Main:
- 40 – 42.5 hours a week
- Monday - Friday + 1 in 3 Saturday Mornings
- 8am to 5pm with 1 hour break – Alternating Saturdays 8am-12pm rota paid at OT rate 1 ½
- Salary between £36,000 - £42,000 OTE
- Bonus Scheme - £600 per quarter roughly £2400 per year
- Training Bonus available
Key Responsibilities:
- Servicing
- Diagnostic work
- General maintenance and repairs
- Brakes checks and changes (pads and discs)
- Suspension work
- Repairs on lights
- Repairing and replacing exhausts
- Repairing and replacing steering racks
- Repairing and replacing water pumps
- Repairing and replacing radiators
- Repairing and replacing clutches
- Dealing with gearboxes
- Timing Belts & Cambelt replacements
- Oil changes and part changes e.g. Filters
- Changing tyre and carrying out wheel alignment
- Explain automotive repairs and issues and provide great customer service.
- Plan and keep up to date records of repair procedures using charts manuals and experience.
- Test the functionality of parts and systems once repairs are completed
Vehicle Technician Requirements:
- NVQ/City & Guilds/IMI certifications required to Level 3 or Level 2 accepted with a minimum of 5 years services
- Hold a full valid driver license.
- Ability to maintain a professional appearance and provide friendly customer service.
- Perform routine maintenance and other tasks in a fast-paced environment.
