Job Title: Homeownership Manager
Hours: 35 hours (full time)
Location: Finsbury Park, N4 2DR. This role is based at our Head Office but there is some flexibility to work in a hybrid way if preferred.
Salary: £52,774 per annum
Contract: Permanent
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Leasehold professional to join our Homeownership Team.
We are looking for a confident, customer focused individual with great interpersonal skills for this busy homeownership Manager role. You will bring your knowledge and experience of managing a team to deliver a holistic, customer focused leasehold management service where residents are at the heart of what you do.
You will work closely with the Head of Housing Management to develop the service through improved policies and processes, whilst improving leaseholder satisfaction.
Some of the key responsibilities of the role include:
- Management of an end to end leasehold and shared-ownership service to include, staircasing applications, lease assignments, and Section 20s.
- Recruitment and management of a small team of Homeownership Officers and Customer Service advisors responsible for day-to-day delivery of leasehold and shared-ownership services.
- Holding third party managing agents and freeholders to account for ISHA and our residents.
- Working closely with the Service Charge Officer for the setting, and management of service charges
About You
We are seeking a proactive and committed individual with strong interpersonal skills who can provide an efficient and customer-focused service to our residents and colleagues. This is a busy and varied role, so we’re looking for someone with excellent interpersonal skills, who can adapt to a fast-paced working environment while ensuring they deliver a service to residents that enables them to flourish in their homes and communities.
You need to be flexible, proactive, and enthusiastic, and have excellent communication and influencing skills. A great sense of humour will serve you in good stead working in our busy, fast paced office.
