Part Time Class 2 Driver

Forte Recruitment are looking for HGV 2 drivers for a local company within the Basingstoke area.

This role will be 2/3 days a week doing delivers to within the London area so previous experience driving around London will be needed.

Pay Rates

• £15.00ph with a guarantee of 8 hours
• Overtime paid at time and a half

Duties will include

• 5/6 drops a day

• 6am start
• 2/3 days a week - ad hoc shifts will be available so flexibility will be ideal
• Delivering around central London
• Driving a HGV 2 (CAT C) vehicle to deliver goods via various delivery routes
• Meeting multiple customers
• Manually loading & unloading from your vehicle
• Checking and confirming delivery accuracy against PDA/paperwork

Successful Applicants:

• Hold a valid HGV 2 (CAT C) license - essential
• Hold a valid CPC & Digi-card - essential
• Possess a good level of driving experience
• Enthusiastic about delivering exceptional customer service
• Have a positive, professional and flexible approach
• Seeking an active, hands-on job where no two days are the same
• Physically fit and mobile as the role requires you to lift some heavy items
