Assistant or Intermediate Quantity Surveyor

We are looking for an Assistant or Intermediate Quantity Surveyor to join a civil engineering and groundworks subcontractor.

This family owned subcontractor are based in Hemel Hempstead, and work for major civil engineering contractors on projects in the South East, London and the Midlands.

The role – Assistant or Intermediate Quantity Surveyor 

The role will be to oversee the commercial aspects of numerous projects, including but not limited to;

· Early Warnings

· Change management

· Applications for payment

· Site measures

· Site visits

· Re-measures

· Cost and value reporting & forecasting

· Attending site and tender meetings

· Assisting with review of tenders & estimating

· Record keeping

· General project administration

The role will be split between sites and the head office.

Candidates will require;

A minimum of 2 years experience in Quantity Surveying, ideally within the Civil Engineering sector.

Experience working for a contractor or subcontractor

A degree in Quantity Surveying or another Construction related degree would be beneficial but is not required, should the candidate have suitable experience

Full clean driving licence

Package;
