We Build Recruitment are on the lookout for a Commercial Manager based in or around Lichfield to join a growing Fitout and Refurbishment company.   

Projects are heavily weighted towards fast track fitouts of commercial properties such as shops, restaurants and other leisure properties such as cinemas.    

The salary is negotiable and dependant on experience. Ideally, they’re looking for someone that’s already managed a team and willing to stretch up to £67,000 for the right person. This comes with a car allowance or a fully expensed car with private mileage included, depending on what works best for you.  

Job Role:

• Manage projects through the entire project lifecycle.
• Prepare estimates, cost plans and tender documentation using various forms of measurement and contracts.
• Be comfortable measuring schedules of works and bills of quantities/activity schedule production.
• Manage and prepare both tender and contract documentation.
• Support and input into procurement and tendering processes and evaluation/award of contracts.
• Attend client and progress meetings and provide input and support to the project.
• Price and prepare financial reports and cashflow forecasts throughout the duration of contracts and provide general post contract cost management and control.
• Carry out re-measurement of quantities with contractors if necessary and prepare and agree final accounts and claims. Prepare final accounts for clients that are suitable for audit.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a Commercial Manager or senior Quantity Surveyor
• You must have prior experience with fitout packages
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
• Strong time management skills to ensure you meet agreed deadlines
• Proficiency in quantity surveying software and Microsoft Office Suite
